Can I try out the art piece in my home or office before purchasing?

Of course! We offer clients the ability to take out artwork on approval for up to 3 days. After the third day, purchase is required or the on approval piece is to be returned back to the gallery.

How do I use the "Virtual Install" tool?

After you click on the artwork you're interested in, there is a "Virtual Install" button located underneath the image of the art. Make sure you have a photo of your wall or space that you want to visualize the artwork on. Import the image by selecting "Choose Background Image," making sure it's either in .jpeg or .png format in order for it to work. Set the appropriate dimensions for a more accurate representation of the installed art.

Do the paintings come framed?

Not all of our paintings are framed, however the paintings that are already framed will be sold altogether. We do not frame art or make framing adjustments.

How do commissions work?

Some of our represented artists do commissions. For more information on which artists are able to commission a piece and/or how to proceed with a commission, please contact one of our gallery representatives for further assistance.

What if I can't pay the full price up front?

If you are not able to pay the full price up front, we offer layaway payments. We will hold the artwork for you until it's paid in full.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of card payment, checks, cash, and wire transfers.

Is all the listed artwork on the website for sale?

Yes, all artwork on our website is available for purchase. Our website is 100% accurate and always up to date. All sales are final.

Does this gallery buy art?

It depends on the art and the provenance. Feel free to send us an email with an image, provenance and we will get back to you. We only respond to emails. No phone calls, please.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to come visit the gallery?

No appointments are needed to visit our gallery! Walk-ins are always welcome!

How do I send an artist submission?

Please send a portfolio of 3-4 of your best works and a link to your website to info@thornwoodgallery.com. We do not accept walk-in submissions. More information on submissions can be found under our Contact page.

When can I expect to hear back for my submission?

Please keep in mind that we receive dozens of art submissions per week. If we do not respond to your submission within a week, your work has not been accepted.
